Veronica & Colin Welcome You...
Situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Ilchester Arms combines
the intimacy of a friendly country inn with the high standards you would expect
from a modern establishment.
The National Heritage Village of Abbotsbury is home to the world famous
Swannery, Sub Tropical Gardens and the Tithe Barn, all nestled on Chesil
Beach. There are local arts & crafts shops, tea rooms and the
remains of the Benedictine Abbey.
Walkers can enjoy the Dorset Coast and Hardy's
Way footpaths, both of which have breathtaking views of the countryside
and English Channel.
Inside, the pub is warm and welcoming with quarry tiled and bare boarded floors, heavy oak beamed ceilings and interconnecting rooms. The comfortable furniture and open log fires in the winter months completes the lovely rustic feel of this traditional pub.
Pool and darts are available for the more competitive minded people
amongst you.
